So if you’re not already binge watching Game of Thrones before the last season starts next month, I’ve got an excellent show for you to watch. It’s called The Expanse, and it is a great one. Based hundreds of years in a future where humanity has colonized Mars and other places in the Solar System. Humanity exists in a fragile peace between Earthers, Martians and those not from either, known as the Belters. The story follows a group of Antiheroes, all centered around a conspiracy that could break the peace.
The series began as a book, picked up by SyFy, they made it one of their most ambitious titles today (I feel it also gives it a quality that I like to call Battlestar Galact-ish). SyFy gave us 3 seasons before calling it quits, then after a massive online campaign backed by many celebrities, Amazon Prime Video picked it up for upcoming Season 4, which started filming in October last year.
