Kids Say The Creepiest Things

Posted by Tanya Ardoin on June 7, 2019 in Blogs, Featured, Tanya's Blog

Ahhh, kids. Don’t you just love kids? Children have such a huge imagination. A child can be so cute and adorable and embarrassing all at the same time. They have make-believe friends and talk to people are not there. Wait, though. Isn’t a little creepy? We all know deep down the kids are just “playing pretend” when they are having these conversations with their imaginary friends. But are they? What if someone or something is really there talking to them? Like a ghost or an angel? I guess we will never really know the answer because if you have ever tried to get to the bottom of what a child is eluding to, you will never get a straight answer.

My mom likes to tell a story about something that I did when I was a toddler. We were visiting a few of her great-aunts that lived way in the country on Pine Ridge Reservation. I was playing with some blocks and then I looked and starting talking in baby babble or at least my mom thought it was baby babble. Right after I finished my sentence one of the elder aunts gasped and told my mom that I was just speaking in Lakota, a Native language. I just wish my mom could remember what I said. Maybe, I had a message from our ancestors the other side? Who knows.

Check out this link. Someone compiled a bunch of examples of kids being creepy from Twitter.
