Games of Acadiana: Play With A Purpose

Is the summertime blues is slowing creeping in? Don’t let it! Here is something to look forward to that is family friendly and for a noble cause.

The 19th Annual Games of Acadiana is set to happen on Saturday, August 17 at the CajunDome Convention Center from 10 am to 4 pm. Everyone in the entire family will be able to participate for free There will be over 50 different games and activities. This event is organized by Miles Perret Cancer Services. This event gives local businesses a chance to come together and raise money to battle cancer.

Opening ceremonies will feature a “Survivor Walk” to honor anyone surviving and living with cancer. Then there will be an opening whistle to signify the official start of the 19th Annual Games of Acadiana.
