Bikes, Burgers, and Boos is a spooky two-wheeled event coming up Saturday, October 31 at Cafe 329. Cafe 329 is located at 329 Dulles Drive in Lafayette. It is free to attend! Donations will be accepted. Any money donated will support Bike Lafayette and its community projects.

This event starts at 2:00 pm with a Fix-A-Thon. During the Fix-A-Thon, individuals will learn how to care for a bike properly. Burgers and Po-boys will be served during the afternoon. Then at 7:00 pm members of Bike Lafayette will lead a 9-mile bike ride through the city. A shorter route option is also available.

Cyclists are encouraged to wear a costume and decorate their bikes. Riders must wear a helmet and colorful flashing LED Lights since the ride will take place after dark.

All attendees are encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

For more information on Bikes, Burgers, and Boos, visit Bike Lafayette’s Facebook page.

Bike Lafayette is a nonprofit group that advocates transportation improvements for cyclists and pedestrians. This group also provides bike safety education for the public and brings the bicycle community together through events and social rides.

Bike Lafayette also collects, refurbishes, and donates bicycles to those in need of alternate transportation. Find out more by visiting bikelafayette.org.
