In response to the decline in oil prices, Hulco Printers Inc. is starting a public awareness campaign: “We Can’t Afford Cheap Gas”. They’ll be focusing on the struggles of local families in the weak economy and promoting the importance of shopping locally. FoodNet of Lafayette has seen an increase of over 5,000 people who don’t have enough food because they’re out of work or earning less. Obie Hulin (pictured above) and his team at Hulco are donating a portion of the proceeds from the campaign to FoodNet to help those families make ends meet.
