“Guest In The Studio Day” continues with Eli Raybon , a talented 18 year old musician originally from Laurinburg, North Carolina who is new to the Lafayette Music scene. Eli puts his musical influences in a melting pot and creatively cooks his own, unique stew. His new release, “The Machine and My Dilemma,” is his first step in sharing his sounds with the world.
With this release, Eli created a musical experience that is organic and human. Listening to this album, you really get a sense of his natural sound. The recording is great, but not overproduced. Eli’s versatile voice is a powerful and expressive instrument; it has bite and strength on upbeat tunes, but can soften up with inviting warmth and emotion on introspective tracks.
Starting in a high school rock band, Eli has rapidly expanded his musical world. Since seriously focusing on songwriting, musical avenues have multiplied, and he remains busy with writing, composing, recording and performing. Music production is a passion, and meshes perfectly with his interests in computer science and math. Electronics, beat-making, looping, and rapping have become an integral part of his live sound.
