Muhammad Ali’s last pictures are so powerful and moving to me. “Float like a butterfly”: The former world boxing champion raises his fists for the final time, his eyes hidden behind dark sunglasses – and a slight hint of a smile on his face. His fight with Parkinson’s disease for over three decades can be seen in extraordinary images of the late, great boxing champion published today for the first time. According to Daily Mail, British photographer Zenon Texeira was invited into Ali’s home in Phoenix, Arizona, at the end of March and captured these images which are mesmerizing fans everywhere.
Sadly, Ali passed away on Saturday at age 74 after a 30 year battle with Parkinson’s disease, thought to have been caused by his boxing.
