Over the weekend, I went out to enjoy some of the sights and sounds of Festival International. This is only a small bit of the footage I had from a few hours of shooting video on Saturday afternoon.
It was originally going to be more of a highlight reel of the day out and about in Downtown Lafayette, but I changed it up to show why this is my favorite time of year. The weather Saturday was on point (despite the wind) and nearly everyone I saw and talked to were as nice as can be.
This past weekend, much like any festival weekend really shows how awesome it is to live in the heart of Acadiana. If you’ve never experienced Festival, I’d highly recommend it and go with a friend. You never know what you’ll wind up seeing while making the rounds.
