Looks like the Pokemon Go craze has been taken to the next level in New Orleans.
Over the weekend, an illegal statue was put up near Coliseum Square in New Orleans. It looks like it’s been inspired by statues of the Greeks. It was originally posted on the Pokemon Go subreddit and much like other posts from the site, it went viral overnight.
On one hand I have to say it’s awesome that the work done on Ash’s first Pokemon is very well done, but why not use one of the legendary birds? They have a big part in the game as being the symbols for the teams (#ValorClub). Just seems like a missed opportunity.
