Abbeville Shelter Update

ABBEVILLE SHELTER UPDATE:
They are in need in volunteers. If you are planning to volunteer or donate, you must go in a pick-up truck. Cars will not make it.

Location: 301 AA Comeaux Memorial, Abbeville, La in the Abbeville Boys & Girls Club Building (It is not in the B&G Club space but is in space immediately next to it which is operated by the City of Abbeville)

They are taking all donations of clothes, shoes, blankets, pillows, etc.

Additionally, they are in need of:

-Tylenol, Motrin, Advil (Adults and Children’s)
-Bandaids
-Hydrocortizone creams (to treat rashes on kids and adults from being stranded in the flood waters)
-Stomach meds
-Bug sprays
-Baby items

They will also need cleaning supplies for when families are able to return home:

-Bleach/Clorox
-Scrub brushes and pads
-Rubber gloves
-Work gloves
-Cleaning sprays
-Mold killers
-Clorox wipes
