Sunshine, good music and greats vibes is the best to describe 106.3’s Downtown Rising Featuring the Cold War Kids.
Thank you so much Social Entertainment, Rader Solutions, Louisiana Ragin Cajuns and all of the sponsors who helped this summer festival happen. Gates opened at 1pm. DJ’s Inzy, Ray Trilla, and Scarencro took the stage. Music rocked Downtown Lafayette!
The day flew by fast with talented local bands rolling throughout the day. The Debtors started at 2:45pm, then Clay Cormier, Julian Primeaux, Andy Frasco and the UN and finally the main event, COLD WAR KIDS.
It didn’t where you were at Parc International, the smell of sweet waffles filled the air, thanks to the fine folks from LA Waffle. There was also a Free photo booth that allowed attendees to take fun photos! And seriously, you did not notice the heat, especially with the Cool down tents, free hand fans, and hammocks!
Dave and Mahoney from the Dave & Mahoney Morning Show flew in from Las Vegas to attend. They got the chance to dine on Louisiana food and meet listeners in person! Thank you to Luxury Limo of Lafayette for chauffeuring the guys around Acadiana.
