It’s that time of year! Geaux! Geaux! Fun! Fun! The Cajun Heartland State Fair returns to the Cajundome May 23. My kids and I go EVERY year. I quickly learned, I only need to ride the Ferris Wheel. It is my favorite ride. I love the view of Lafayette from the top. It takes my breath away. My children love all the other rides. We always have fun at the fair.
This year, there is one major change: You MUST pay to play. The admission to attend the Cajun Heartland State Fair this year is three dollars per person. Children 2 and under are free.
