Who doesn’t love the sci-fi classic Blade Runner? The first film had countless different versions get released over the years and we finally got the sequel last year in Blade Runner 2049 which deserved a little more love in terms of the box office, but they were up against some solid competition at the time (Thor: Ragnarok being the most obvious).
Well, it looks like the franchise is headed to the small screen and in anime form called Blade Runner-Black Lotus. The series will consist of 13 episodes and will be aired not only on Adult Swim, but on anime streaming service Crunchyroll as well.
As of right now, the plot details are being kept under lock-and-key but it will take place in the year 2032 and will feature established characters from the “Blade Runner” Universe.
Honestly, I can’t wait to check this out whenever it comes out.
