When you think of 90’s sitcom dads, you think of “America’s Dad” Danny Tanner from Full House. Bob Saget filled the not so normal role at the time of a TV dad by being the widowed parent of 3 young girls (with the help of his brother-in-law Jesse and friend Joey). This role gave a different side of how a dad could be loving, provide life lessons, and adjust along the way without having a his significant other to help him.

Saget could also be seen or heard through other popular shows such as being a long running host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” or the grown version of Ted on “How I Met Your Mother.”

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office official Twitter account, deputies received “a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room” who “was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene.”

Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. #BobSaget pic.twitter.com/aB1UKiOlmi
