CITY-WIDE PRAYER SERVICE SET FOR WEDNESDAY EVENING
More than 35 Lafayette churches will combine their regular Wednesday evening meetings for a CITY-WIDE PRAYER SERVICE at Crossroads Church. The event will begin at Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at 150 Verona Drive.
The joint effort is designed to complement Thursday’s community memorial service being organized by LCG. “This is a church response with an emphasis on prayer,” said Pastor Bobby Richard of Hope Alive Freedom Church. “It is a cross-denominational event where everyone is welcome.”
“In the Bible and throughout all of history, people have called out to God during times of crisis and tragedy,” said Steve Horn, Pastor of First Baptist Lafayette. “We believe the need in this hour is for our community to look to God.”
Pastor Jacob Aranza of Our Saviour’s Church said, “We hope to see unity in the spiritual community, and for faith to spread.”
Pastor Jeff Ables of Crossroads Church invites the public to attend the service Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
