Clint’s Sports Weekend Preview

Posted by clintdomingue on January 5, 2017 in Featured

weekend-sports-preview

The NFL Playoffs are in full swing this weekend, college football taking over Monday night, and a whole lot more going down on the airwaves in the world of sports this weekend!

College Football: The Rematch

Clemson and Alabama are facing off once again for the all the marbles. The last time, the Crimson Tide was able to take care of Clemson but expect this one to be a lot more competitive. Saban is chasing Bear Bryant while Dabo Swinney is trying to prove that the Goliath of college football can be beaten in the big game. If the Tigers from South Carolina can have a great defensive effort, expect them to hoisting the trophy.

College Hoops: Florida State vs Virginia Tech

Saturday is quickly becoming the day where college hoops takes center stage and when you have two ranked teams take on each other in conference play, it becomes must-watch TV. The best part is that it is a mid-day game so if you want to catch the Ragin Cajuns later that night, you can do just that.

NFL: Green Bay vs New York

The Packers have been a beast at this point of the season, getting hot at the right time. New York’s defense will have to have a great game on Sunday if they want to stop Aaron Rodgers from throwing the ball at will to Jordy Nelson.

Other Sports: Supercross

I’m not the biggest Supercross guy, but for what it’s worth the season starts on Saturday and if you don’t feel like catching the other wild card game that day, you’ll love seeing some Supercross on FS1.
