Clint’s Weekend Sports Preview

Posted by clintdomingue on January 26, 2017 in Featured

weekend-sports-preview

Welcome everyone to the latest weekend sports preview! No real football with actual stakes this weekend, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any sports going on!

College Hoops: SEC-Big 12 Challenge

How can this not be the choice for the weekend in college hoops? So many fun matchups between SEC teams and the Big 12 (LSU-Texas Tech not one of those) on tap throughout the day Saturday. However, the one I’m most excited about has to be Kentucky taking on Kansas. Two of the biggest names in the world of college hoops clashing on national television. I’ll be watching this one online as I’ll be busy on Saturday night with Cajuns hoops. That should be fun as well.

NBA: Clippers vs Golden State

I’m not the biggest fan of superteams, but when they’re playing on primetime TV you need to mention this one. I still enjoy seeing Steph Curry shooting from beyond three and Kevin Durant beast. I almost feel like the Warriors should win this one handily, but they’ve been known to take a loss every now and again when they take on lesser teams.

Other Sports: Remember the Rumble

The Pro Bowl and the NHL All-Star Game are on Sunday and these aren’t worth watching. However, there is one thing you need to watch especially if you are a wrestling fan. This year’s Royal Rumble definitely has a different feel from ones in the past three editions as it seems like anyone can win it all and head over to the main event of WrestleMania 33. My money’s on the big manBraun Strowman.
