Prep Basketball: The Road to Marsh Madness
Several teams in the Acadiana area will be beginning the road to Lake Charles with the state playoffs getting underway this weekend. The amount of teams in the Acadiana area is too much to mention here, but for full brackets, check it all out right here. The postseason is always a fun time and despite my personal reservations about the select-non select brackets it should still be a fun weekend.
College Basketball: Best of the SEC
Earlier this week, I dived into a conversation with a bracketologist or in simpler terms a guy who loves March Madness. As we get closer to the big dance in the coming weeks, these games are becoming even more important and when two top 15 teams are facing off against each other you need to watch it. Florida and Kentucky will be bringing the noise and it’s a perfect way to start your Saturday as the game tips off at 1 pm.
NBA: D-Wade vs LeBron
When two of the titans in the NBA face off, it is required watching for a sports fan. It’s not even a casual thing when you have LeBron James and Dwyane Wade facing off on primetime TV. It seems cheap to pick a game on ABC, but much like the college hoops game, you really can’t pass up watching this game.
