Welcome everyone to my review of the weekend that was in the world in sports! The New Year ended with a bang and it began with some great postseason storylines.
College Football: Guice Crushes Kicker

The Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl was full of fun moments like Coach Ed Orgeron beginning his career as the head coach (no interim needed) to some acrobatic catches from the likes of Malachi Dupre and DJ Chark. But it was the play above that has been talked about and looped for all to see. The sophomore just completely demolished Louisville’s kicker on a return late in the contest. There’s a reason why you never stand on the tracks while the train is coming.
Pro Football: Buffalo’s Day Goes From Bad to Worse In Zero Seconds
It’s not often you see a team put up 10 points in zero seconds. In fact, it’s technically impossible. But in the case of the NFL on Sunday, anything is possible in terms of the game clock. Late in the matchup against the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills, the Jets had just kicked a field goal to go up 23-3. During the ensuing kickoff something happened that I had never actually seen. In fact, I had only heard of this during the infamous 222-0 game when Georgia Tech took on Cumberland. The Bills had accidentally touched the ball as it rolled into the endzone and the Jets would recover the ball to score a touchdown to put the game even more out of reach.
