Calling all artists… check this out!
“Creativity Everywhere” initiative from Downtown Lafayette. Their goal is to fund visual arts projects that will make our culture visible for all who visit Downtown Lafayette. Downtown would like to help fund your great idea for creating a beautiful downtown focal point. They are taking three approaches to this – through artists, property owners, and other visionaries in the community.
Timeline:
Deadline: October 30, 2015, 5 pm CST
Projects Reviewed: November 2015
Notification by: November 30, 2015
Projects Implemented: December 1, 2015 – October 1, 2016

Downtown Lafayette is also able to assist you with resources to accomplish your project, such as selecting an artist (if one is needed).

Instead of starting their own artist list, they are encouraging more local artists to become featured on the state artists roster, with other local artists that can assist in fulfilling great ideas.
