Dinner and a movie all in one… is this the ‘Date Night’ re-imagined?! Well, Pizza Hut has merged movies and pizza into one with this new special box that turns it into a movie projector. Simply pop out the perforated cardboard circle and insert the “pizza projector”—a specially modded pizza saver—into the hole. You can then slip your smartphone inside the pizza box and the contraption will blow up your phone’s display onto a nearby wall. I don’t know how I feel about placing my phone into a greasy pizza box.
The special pizza box comes with a QR code for a digital movie download. However, you can only get the special pizza projector box if you live in Hong Kong. I wonder if Pizza Hut plans to bring it here to the States but, we will have to wait and see.
I’ll stick to my DVDs and Netflix for now.
