FILdL is one of my absolute favorite times of the year. I’ve been across much of the US and many places around the world and I haven’t found a place with as rich a culture as we have here in Acadiana, and it makes sense to me that the place with the richest culture would want to celebrate culture, music and food from around the world. And that celebration happens to be the biggest International Festival in the United States and the World’s largest Free Festival!
It helps that I live about two blocks from one of the main stages, and that 106.3 Radio Lafayette and Delta Media Corporation gave me special passes to capture as much of the festivities as possible. You can check out my coverage at
