Festival International revises the Festival Pass and Amis du Festival!
Lafayette, LA – Festival International de Louisiane is proud to announce a revised Festival Pass program and the re-introduction of Amis du Festival! After 2015’s pilot year for the Festival Pass program, the organization has tweaked and simplified the options for pass holders. In addition, the organization revised the Amis du Festival program to show more gratitude to Festival supporters. The reworked Festival Pass program and Amis du Festival was announced at Saturday’s fundraiser, La Fête du Festival.
“Over the past few months, we’ve reached out to past Festival supporters. We need and value our community support,” says Scott Feehan, President of the Board of Directors. “We’re doing everything we can to reconnect with the community.”
Festival supporters have been anticipating the revamped Amis du Festival program for 2016. One of the main highlights is the FIRST EDITION of Live from Festival International de Louisiane 2015 – a live compilation audio CD featuring performances from 2015 Festival. This is the first time that Festival has produced a CD of this nature and is thrilled to share this with donors.
In comparison to last year’s Amis program, Festival is now giving more back to its Amis members at all levels. For instance the new Grand Ami, Tres Bon Ami, and Magnifique Ami tiers all come with the benefit of Festival Passes and Live Festival CDs, something that wasn’t offered in the 2015 Amis program.
The Amis du Festival contribution options range from $50 – $500+ and now includes a monthly installment option, making giving to Festival easier than ever. More information on the Amis du Festival program can be found at festivalinternational.org/amis and further below.
Since the inception of the Festival Pass, the organization has received constructive feedback from the community. “Some feedback has been really positive, some has been negative. We took everything into consideration, did some evaluating, and made changes,” says Candace Gulotta-Haggart, Development Director for Festival International. “We’ve simplified the program to make it easier to understand and more accessible for everyone.”
The new Festival Pass program sees adjustments with a simple structure. The Marquis Pass has been eliminated with those benefits incorporated back into the Rain Angels’ Circle, including the popular Rain Angels’ Circle Tent access.
