This is great news for Lafayette as far as I am concerned… We are getting a Comic Con! We have a decent sized comics community here in town, have comic book professionals Rob Guillory and Kody Chamberlain producing great comics out of Lafayette, and a few great shops to boot. I see no reason why this hasn’t happen sooner… My wedding anniversary is right around the time this will be taking place so, I consider it an anniversary gift for all of us to partake in. The guest list is shaping up to be a good one so far and I am looking forward to seeing who else might show up here in town for the event. I’ll keep you posted as I find out more…
