Foo Fighters NOLA Show Cancelled Due to Band Member Injury

Posted by clintdomingue on February 6, 2019 in Blogs

We’re only a little more than a month into 2019, but the Foo Fighters have had a rough start.

First you have Dave Grohl, falling off of the stage during their first show of the year back in January. Now, a band member suffered a mishap after a pre-Super Bowl show this past weekend and the group announced that they will have to cancel their show at the Fillmore in New Orleans that was originally scheduled for February 15th and 16th to open up the new music venue inside Harrah’s Casino.

This isn’t the first time the group had to cancel shows due to injury. Back in 2015, Dave Grohl suffered a broken leg in Sweden which forced them to cancel their gig at the Glastonbury Festival.

The Fillmore has announced that Coheed and Cambria will now christen the venue on February 18th and 80s new wave group Duran Duran will be performing on the 19th.
