In a move that’s sure to delight both animal lovers and little kids, Google now answers questions like “What sound does a dog make?” with actual audio clips. The Huffington Post first pointed out the cool trick, noting that Google can provide audio clips for 19 different animals, though unfortunately not the fox. You might also get a kick of trying the feature out in different languages. On Google’s Japanese version, for example, you’ll see that a cat says “nyaa” and a pig says “buu buu”– while in English we obviously say “meow” and “oink.” A spokesman for Google says the feature launched on January 27th, but likely went unnoticed unless you were Googling with a tot on your lap.
