Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and producer Greg Kurstin announced today that they are releasing covers of eight songs by Jewish artists to celebrate Hanukkah.
Grohl, who is not Jewish explained that “This year, instead of doing a Christmas song, Greg and I decided to celebrate Hanukkah by recording eight songs by eight famous Jewish artists and releasing one song each night of Hanukkah.”
The Hanukkah Sessions starts today (December 10th) and runs through December 18th.

Grohl and Kurstin have already released a Christmas song earlier this year.
Foo Fighters will be releasing their 10th studio album ‘Medicine at Midnight’ on February 5, 2021.
