So, I just got word that local area piano pop / indie rock musician, Hunter deBlanc, just got an amazing opportunity to work with some big names and a few of his heroes on his next EP that he is looking to record very soon. Hunter would like the people that enjoyed his first EP outing, Something To Hold On To and those that might have seen him perform around town to come aboard and help support him in his new adventure. Here are all the details in a statement released from his Go Fund Me project website…
Over the past year, I’ve been overwhelmed with the positive feedback about my first musical effort– a five song EP that I released in July of 2014 with the help of a few friends over at Leap Studios in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Now I’ve been presented with an opportunity to record with a notable producer (Paul Leavitt, Valencia Studios) who has worked with some of my favorite artists (All Time Low, Yellowcard, Senses Fail), as well as having some of those very musicians (Jack’s Mannequin, The Graduate, The Dangerous Summer) perform on the songs. If I meet my goal, I will be flying out to Baltimore from October 25th-30th to record an entire EP. I am very excited about this huge opportunity, but I need a little help.
Anything you can do is hugely appreciated.
Hunter
