Lafayette Blues/Rock artist LANE MACK will release new self titled album on Tuesday April 7th, 2015.
Lane has graced the stage with numerous national recording artist including, Robert Randolph, Marc Broussard, Roddie Romero and Royal Teeth. He has also fronted a blues/rock/cajun band with his brother, Son’s of Voodoo. Lane Mack is always challenging his versatility to become better and better by the day, Going from playing with singer/ songwriter folk artist Sean Bruce one night to switching gears effortlessly to soul music as the guitarist/ bassist for season 5 finalist of The Voice, Ray Boudreaux.
Mack’s new self titled album was recorded at Leap Studios in Lafayette, LA, Dockside Studios in Maurice and The Tackle Box of Houma where Trouble & Worry a featured track off the upcoming LP was produced by Joe and David Stark of the band Baby Bee. ” I knew I was going in there with a purpose, To make a rock n roll record that captured my high energy vibe.” Lane Mack invited many of his talented friends to play on his record including: Roddie Romero, Sean Bruce, Ben Alleman, Billy McDonald, and Bob Luckey. He also selected an all-star line up of duet and backing vocalist including Ray Boudreaux, Andrina Turenne and Alexa Dirks of the Canadian group Chic Gamine, and Julie Williams. Heavily driven by blues and rock n roll this 7 song LP is a highly anticipated and expected to place Lane Mack amongst the greats.
