Louisiana Saturday Night Coming to the Cajundome

Posted by Tanya Ardoin on June 5, 2020 in Blogs, Tanya's Blog

Don’t let the summertime blues get you down. There is still some summer fun to enjoy. The Cajundome announced a summer series that will feature music, movies, and crafts. And here is the best part, there is no admission, and parking at the dome is free. No cost to park.

The Louisiana Saturday Night outdoor event will take place at the Cajundome on 3 consecutive Saturdays. It will feature food, merchandise vendors, bands, stage performances, and an outdoor movie. It kicks off June 27, July 18 and July 25 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There will be plenty of room to allow for social distancing. Bring your own chairs and blankets for the showing of the movie. Visit the Cajundome website to find out about VIP seating options. Please keep in mind, the Cajundome kindly requests that ice chests be kept at home.

If you are a food or merchandise vendor and interested in setting up, register online. Registration is open until one week prior to the event.

The names of the bands performing have not yet been released. But some of the movies, you can expect to see at this outdoor series are Toy Story 4 and Frozen II. There will also be a blood drive and a party train offering rides.
