Lafayette police have reportedly taken more than $1 million worth of illegal drugs off Hub City streets.
Officials reportedly seized 1.3 million dollars worth of cocaine and methamphetamine on January 11th. Spokeswoman Sergeant Robin Green says officers seized 13 pounds of crystal meth, and 2 pounds of cocaine.
According to an LPD press release, Lafayette officials were assisted by Louisiana State Police, and New Iberia police officers.
