I read about this prank that was pulled recently at a Westchester , New York high school. It was such a good one, even some of the faculty members were in on it. According to ABC news, Dave Husselbee, a junior at Sleepy Hollow High school managed to convince nearly 60 students and staff to wear matching Hawaiian shirts on picture day, and he even provided some of the shirts himself . Other students and staff got in on the prank as well as they passed the five Hawaiian shirts off to each other as their pictures were taken, successfully forming their summer look in a sea of yellow. Carol Conklin-Spillane , the school’s principal was in on the gag as well and said this kind of playful behavior is characteristic of the school’s population.
I remember students getting pretty antsy during the school year-especially when it was almost time for summer break & pranks were in high gear -some harmless and others resulting in punishments. One year some members of the senior class at my high school littered the entire campus with paper, toilet paper and tons of trash. Unlike, Sleepy Hollow’s principal, ours was not in on it nor was he happy about it. I’m not sure what the punishment was for those seniors, thankfully I was a sophomore. What prank from the past do you remember well?
