I’m a pro wrestling fan. I’ve been one since I was around ten years old. It’s something about the mix of athleticism and drama just hooked me. You probably have heard me talk about this interview ad nauseum over the last week and the hype was real.
Some of the expectations I had was that these two would heel it up and stay in character. However, what I got was one of the more fun interviews I’ve ever done. Sheamus and Cesaro, the current Raw Tag Team champions came in the studio and made the biggest smark turn into that 10 year old fanboy. I had been soured on the WWE over the last few months for a number of reasons (the pushing of Roman Reigns, lack of true “stars”, generally swamped with work every night), but this moment really woke up the fan.
So thank you Sheamus and Cesaro for making me an even bigger fan of yours, the WWE, and making my Monday morning a lot better considering I was up all night watching baseball.
