The Christmas season will be here before you know it. Retailers would have you believe it’s already here. The St. Martin Parish Sheriff Department has launched a toy drive for less fortunate kids in the parish. They’re seeking donations of age appropriate toys for kids up to age 12. Gift cards are especially welcome. You can also donate new, unwrapped toys. Donations can be dropped off at the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Main Office – 400 St. Martin Street inSt. Martinville, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Complex – 4870 Main Highway, St. Martinville, and Landmark of Acadiana – 1710 Smede Highway, St. Martinville through December 8th.
