Stressed Out And Can’t Sleep? Tips To Get Some Shuteye

Things that cause everyday stress like work, school, family and finances … can also make it hard for you to fall asleep. Stress can cause your brain to stay awake resulting in tossing & turning. You know how frustrating these sleepless nights can be!

Here are a few tips to put your brain at ease and help you get a better night’s rest:

  1. Try some relaxation exercises such as meditation or yoga.
  2. Take deep breaths as you close your eyes.
  3. Eliminate excess light in the room from night lights to the little red power light on the TV.
  4. Try smelling something lavender. Studies have shown the smell of lavender can help relax the body.
