Back on February 2nd 1995, Pearl Jam’s incredible but misunderstood album “Vitalogy”, with the smash hit “Better Man”, and the tight jams “Not for You”, “Spin the Black Circle” and “Corduroy”, was certified Gold, Platinum and Quadruple Platinum. It went Five-Times Platinum eight months later, in October of 1995. Upon its CD release, Vitalogy became the second-fastest selling album in history, only behind the band’s previous release Vs., selling 877,000 copies in its first week.
