“The Voice” top 6 finalist, Koryn Hawthorne, will be returning to Abbeville this week for a homecoming celebration.
The event will kick off this Wednesday with a parade at 5 pm. The 16-year-old will take the stage in Magdalen square for a special concert immediately following the parade. If Koryn advances to the top 5 tomorrow night, television crews from “The Voice” will be in the Vermilion Parish city filming the entire event.
City officials are asking people to not wear any clothing or hats with brand name logos or artwork and to be in place by 4:30 pm. Minors under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Also, be sure to bring your homemade signs to show your support for Koryn.
