Louisiana’s a curious place. We have one of the most unique cultures in the world with great art, food and music. Louisiana, unfortunately, has one of the highest crime rates in the nation. That includes violent crime. New Orleans, for example, has the 8th highest murder rate in the nation. That being said, there are some very safe commuities in which to live in the Bayou State. Safewise recently released a list of Louisiana’s 10 safest cities. Three of them are right here in Acadiana. Broussard comes in at #5 on the list, with its small town charm. It’s a great place to raise a family. Louisiana’s 3rd safest city is also known as the Frog Capital of the world. Rayne has the benefit being a small town within easy reach of bigger cities like Lafayette. Jennings is the Bayou State’s 2nd safest city, very little crime, and a showcase of Cajun Culture. What’s Louisiana’s safest city, according to FBI statistics? that would be Baker. To view the top ten list, click here: https://a-z-animals.com/blog/discover-safest-places-to-live-in-louisiana/
