Almost a week since Wilcosprung their brand-new surprise album, Star Wars, and now, the Jeff Tweedy-fronted group has already unveiled plans for a North American tour that begins in August.
Fans of Wilco in Louisiana rejoice because they are making New Orleans a part of this tour! The gentlemen of Wilco will be making a stop at The Orpheum Theater on Sept. 28 with supporting act William Tyler.
Also, don’t forget you can still grab Star Wars — which follows the band’s 2011 full-length, The Whole Love — on Wilco’s website; it’ll remain available for free download until Aug. 13. You’ll be able to purchase the album on CD as early as Aug. 21, and a vinyl edition will arrive on Nov. 27.
