Shreveport shimmer pop will be filling my ears tomorrow night at The Wild Salmon. I recently discovered this 80s alt-pop influenced five piece band yesterday thanks to Mandi Ayo! It only took a few seconds to get hooked on their electronic soundscapes heard on their recently released Sirens EP.
Hydrogen Child has an impressive resumé which includes touring with AWOLNATION and Royal Teeth and also writing “Chandelier” which was released on B.o.B‘s album Strange Clouds. Their music has also been placed on TV including MTVs Real World Portland, 16 & Pregnant, The Challenge, and Caged. They are definitely a group to keep your eye on!
