The unwelcomed guest from the weekend, Tropical Storm and short live Hurricane Barry still left his calling card to many in Acadiana including 1063 Radio Lafayette. We like others are dealing with the aftermath from his visit.
You may have noticed 1063 Radio Lafayette’s over the air signal is not there. Barry damaged the radio station’s microwave link. This is how the signal from the studio is sent to the transmitter and from there, the signal is transmitted to your radio. Until the microwave link is repaired, the only way to listen to 1063 Radio Lafayette is through the 1063 Radio Lafayette phone app (Apple or Andriod) or online at 1063 Radio Lafayette.com.
With the app and online listening, you’ll everything you love about 1063 Radio Lafayette, including the 1K as Day Money giveaway, LeBlanc in the Morning, Brigette’s Ride at 5 and Morgan’s Home Grown Sunday program.
Please know Delta Media Corporation’s Engineering Department is working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
Until then everything you love about 1063 Radio Lafayette can still be enjoyed on your Alexa Echo or Dot, simply by going to the Alexa Skills and follow the enable skills instructions, then asking Alexa to “Play Radio Lafayette”, or at 1063 Radio Lafayette.com and with the 1063 Radio Lafayette mobile app.
