The Black Keys leader Dan Auerbach has been teasing music with his new project, the Arcs, ever since they dropped “Stay in My Corner” as a 7″ single back in May. That song also appears on the Arcs’ debut full-length, Yours, Dreamily, which is now streaming in full ahead of its Sept. 4 release. Listen below (via NPR).
For the Arcs, Auerbach enlisted his longtime collaborators and friends Leon Michels, Richard Swift, Homer Steinweiss and Nick Movshon. Yours, Dreamily also features contributions from Kenny Vaughan, Mariachi Flor de Toloache and Tchad Blake.
“This project was about making music with some of my longest relationships in music,” Auerbach previously said of his latest venture. “Leon, Richard and I have not only worked in the Black Keys together, but we have produced together, played on various projects of each other’s and we’ve collaborated longer than a lot of bands stay together. It just kind of came naturally.”
Yours Dreamily follows the Black Keys’ most recent album, last year’s Turn Blue. In 2009, Auerbach released his debut as a solo artist, Keep It Hid.
