James Dupre’s “Let Her Cry” sets off epic battle w/ Voice judges

Well, it’s official… Evangeline Parish native and County musician, James Dupré  has made NBC’s The Voice! It was a battle between the judges but, Adam Levine from Maroon 5 pulled out the win to help guide James through Season 9 as his coach. You can watch his blind audition below.

From his website: James Dupré is a country music artist born and raised in Bayou Chicot, Louisiana. His debut album “It’s All Happening” and online presence led to an appearance on the Ellen show and a major turning point in his career. Now based in Nashville, James performs shows across North America and beyond while working on his next album. He is also starring alongside Randy Travis in “The Price”, an independent film based on the family life of a country music superstar, set to debut in 2015.
