Sad Day For WWE Fans: Chyna Dead At 45

Posted by on April 21, 2016 in Featured
WWE legend Chyna passed away Wednesday evening (April 20th) at age 45. According to TMZ Sports, the wrestler, whose real name is Joanie Laurer, was at her home in Redondo Beach, CA when the police got a call at around 7:30 p.m. Officials are investigating whether or not the cause of death may be due to a possible overdose because of Chyna’s known history with drug addiction. A statement was posted on her official Twitter account confirming her passing. The post said, “It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her.” Her manager, Anthony Anzaldo, also confirmed her passing to Radar Online saying, “It’s true, she passed.”During Chyna’s time with the WWE she was known to team up with Triple H and was one of the original members of D-Generation X. Chyna was also the first woman to enter the Royal Rumble. Following her stint as a wrestler, Chyna delved into pornography, releasing six films between 2004 and 2013. She also posed for Playboy and later transitioned to reality TV, appearing on The Surreal Life in 2005. She also appeared on Celebrity Rehab in 2008.
