As the world still mourns the loss of Carrie Fisher, the actress who embodied our beloved space princess Leia in the Star Wars movies… a lovely petition on Change.org has popped up regarding the late actress’s character.
As you probably know, Star Wars is now owned by Disney… so does that make Leia a “Disney Princess”? Not exactly. There seem to be stipulations – apparently they don’t just give the title of “official” Disney Princess so easily. Usually Disney grants this honor to only animated princesses, but there is now a petition you can sign to induct her into the Disney Princess “hall of fame” … if you will.
Currently as I am publishing this blog, the petition has 35,272 supporters, only 14,728 needed to reach 50,000. It will be delivered to the CEO Walt Disney, Bob Iger, and you can sign it HERE – BrigetteRose@1063RL
