Black Keys Frontman to Release Album with The Arcs

Posted by on June 12, 2015 in Featured

The Black Keys frontman and guitarist Dan Auerbach has recorded a new side project with some longtime musical friends called The Arcs. The eclectic collaboration has already released a single titled, “Stay In My Corner” inspired by the recent Mayweather/Pacquiao fight.

Auerbach recently told Rolling Stone, “This is the culmination of all these years playing together. We just finally put a name to it and decided to put out an album.” The band consists of Richard Swift, Leon Michels, Homer Steinweiss, Nick Movshon, and Kenny Vaughan, along with help from Mariachi Flor De Toloache. Many of the musicians in the Arcs worked with Auerbach on records he’s produced over the years for Ray LaMontagne, Lana Del Rey, Dr. John and others.

Auerbach’s last solo album was 2009’s Keep it Hid. The Arcs debut album Yours, Dreamily releases on September 4th.
