As many of you already know, I’m a major fan of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. I end every show telling everyone to be excellent to each other and recently caught Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey on TV. But when I heard that we might be closer to a third Bill and Ted film, I got super excited.
The film has been in proverbial limbo for the better part of a decade, but it looks more and more likely that we’ll get one more time-traveling adventure according to Alex Winter, who played Bill S. Preston Esquire.
“We’ve been working on it for, like six years,” Winter told Forbes. “We’re knee-deep in the script, it’s been written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, who wrote the first two, they are fantastic writers, and the script is great. We have a script, we have a director, we have a studio – we’re just trying to nail down a start date.”
He also confirmed that Keanu Reeves will return as Ted in the film because how could you not have him in the film? If only George Carlin was still around to reprise his role as Rufus
