Welcome everyone to my preview of the upcoming weekend in the world of sports! Championship Sunday is at the top of the list, but there’s a lot more going on that you need to check out.
College Basketball: Louisville vs Florida State
Two teams in the top 15 are facing off on Saturday afternoon and this has to be a great ACC matchup. Both teams are catching fire, but I’d say you need to expect Louisville to pull off the upset.
Pro Basketball: San Antonio vs Cleveland
College football is over so that means the NBA takes center stage on ABC. The first big game on ABC is San Antonio vs Cleveland. The Spurs without Tim Duncan have been doing just fine thanks to Kahwi Leonard. Cleveland is definitely trying to go back to back NBA champions and this one will be a real test for the man that is called the King.
NFL: Championship Sunday
The NFC and AFC championship games this Sunday are full of intrigue. You’ve got the NFC title game where Matt Ryan is trying to finally shed that shadow of a quarterback that can’t win the big one and Aaron Rodgers trying to get one step closer towards solidifying himself firmly in the conversation of one of the best QBs in this era. Seriously, the guy has won eight straight and had a Joe Namath moment in saying that the Packers will run the table. Then you’ve got everybody’s favorite guy to hate in Tom Brady trying to get one more Super Bowl to make himself the best QB of all time against the Steelers who are out there with something to prove. The Pats do look human so expect the Steelers to try and pull the Clemson and attack those weaknesses.
