Evangeline Parish native to appear on The Voice this week… County / Americana musician, James Dupré auditioned for NBC’s The Voice and expects his audition to air on the Season 9 premiere tonight or tomorrow. Dupre, who’s from Bayou Chicot, said on his Facebook page that his audition will be part of the blind auditions.
From his website: James Dupré is a country music artist born and raised in Bayou Chicot, Louisiana. His debut album “It’s All Happening” and online presence led to an appearance on the Ellen show and a major turning point in his career. Now based in Nashville, James performs shows across North America and beyond while working on his next album. He is also starring alongside Randy Travis in “The Price”, an independent film based on the family life of a country music superstar, set to debut in 2015.
