Kurt Vile is one of my favorite artists we play on 1063 Radio Lafayette. Cyndi Lauper was one of my favorites when I was in elementary school. This video is cool to me because the past & present meet ! Cyndi held her annual Home for the Holidays benefit Saturday night at New York’s Beacon Theatre, where she welcomed SPIN Best Albums of 2015 contender Kurt Vile onstage to help her sing “Money Changes Everything” and cover the Rolling Stones’ “As Tears Go By.” Other guests of Lauper’s included Boy George, Cam, Judy Gold, Ledisi, Keb’ Mo’, Sharon Osbourne, Jordan Pundik, Richie Sambora & Orianthi, Valerie Simpson, Anne Steele, Joey Taranto, Justin Tranter, and event host Carson Kressley.
